Brian has just begun his racing career.  Starting out in 2004, he has been quick to pick up on the racing habits and has never raced before jumping into the Nascar Late Model.  In his first year, Brian completed four races in his newly prepared late model.  What was most impressive, though, was the outcome of his first ever qualifying attempt.  Brian posted the 9th best time out of 28 cars during the 2004 San Antonio Speedway Oktoberfast!

Growing up around racing and his uncle, Joe Aramendia, Brian has always dreamed of being behind the wheel. "At the shop, they used to have an old go-kart painted blue and white with a big number 50 on the side.  We would set out a bunch of old tires in a circle to make an inside wall, and I would drive around in circles behind the old shop."  Although racing was in the family, Brian wasn't allowed to start racing until the age of 18.

"My main goal is to race in Nextel one day if Ihave the talent, just like any
other racer.  I think the coolest thing would be to have a 1-2 finish with my uncle Joe."

Brian would like to thank everyone who has helped him during the week and at the track every weekend.  His crew members include Earl, Steve, Kenny, and Eric.
